Abstract Tint Pleats Top

This top uses dye transfer during pleating to create an abstract print pattern. The garment is constructed by joining the bodice with different lines and colours on the front and back, then applying a pleating treatment so that the two-colour fabric appears to have three colours through dye transfer, creating a playful design. The pattern is slightly distorted to create draping when worn, emphasizing the emerging pattern.
